Finished reading: Seven Lessons for Dreamers and Makers by SCAD 📚
Purchased at the SCAD gift shop in Savannah, GA. April 2026. A decent pamphlet for SCAD students and prospective students, with some good tips on developing healthy creative habits and creative/professional networks while in school, with supporting examples of SCAD alums getting jobs with major corporations or starting their own businesses. Probably very useful to an undergrad after their 7th or 8th read. And maybe they’ll have a good time in school, too, though reassuring students – and their parents – that creative activities will eventually pay off seems more the emphasis here.
